Our family plans to go to Mexico this summer, anyone know more about Cancun please tell us what hotel is good to stay and interesting place to go. Thanks a lots.

if you have kids, and want to spend tranquility times with the family, i'd recommend xcaret over cancun. xcaret is about 40min drive from cancun international airport.
occidental grand flamenco xcaret hotel is awesome.

Playa del Carmen is 15min, and cozumel is just a ferrie away.

We stayed at Moon Palace....excellent. Xcaret is nice too ...spend days to explore the place.

moon, xpu-ha, beach, sun, spa owns by barcelo group. they pretty much have the same venues and services.
this place is unbelievable for mooners, but it's a bit pricey

we were at sandals there 2 years ago....good but pricey...
We did not like xpu-ha (good beach but the room sux). Moon/Sun are fill with kids. If you stay at spa, there are free shuttles from spa ->xpu-ha, Moon/Sun everyday for free.

Tui đi thử XCaret rồi... Giá $95/người (luôn lunch + 2 bottle water). Giá như vậy không biết dân local có đi được hay không. Mắc như Disneyland????
Tui thì không thích Xcaret lắm, chắc tại tháng 7, nóng quá!!! Có chổ snorkel coi cá, nhưng không thấy gì hết, tại vì cát quá nhiều & tối quá. Nếu đi chổ này mà có hơn 3 người thì bao 1 chiếc Taxi (cở chừng $90/round trip + tips), thì không phải chen chúc lên xe bus.

Biển ở Cancun chỉ bơi được 1 chổ thôi, bên mấy chổ kia đá nhiều quá, không cẩn thận là gẩy tay, gẩy chân.

Nước biển thì đẹp, nhưng đục quá. Không thấy đáy biển ở đâu hết. Đi 1 lần, chắc không đi lại
