Could someone help me with purchasing and steps for installing new stereo system to my Corrola 87?
My old stereo(???:D) system just went dead one day, right after I jumped the battery, which made me wonder because i connected the wrong pole (+/-) the first time that caused it.
Anyway,
Where to buy the cheapest cd player and speakers. No need for amp and sub, or fancy stuff, Just a plain stereo system.
And if you could please walk me through the steps, that would be great, Could you say how long for the whole process to be completed?
Appreciate all of your inputs :)

Brave_man,
87' Corolla is a fairly old body style. They change to a cuter one in '88.
I do not have a 87 Corolla so I cannot help with the step-by-step.
But I can tell U this, it's not hard to change stereo in this car.
Maybe someone else who has this car can help U with the steps.
As far as buying a cheapest cd player, I've seen Best Buy has an Aiowa (decent) CD player on sale for 99 bucks (free installation and a pair of speakers). I don't know if it's on the ad for this week but they have this kinda of deal a lot.
With the Corolla, I believe that U do not have to buy any stereo kit (maybe I'm wrong).
If you live in in states that have Fry electronic near your house, they have Car player onsale every week with free installation included on some model....
I saw one in the ad about $107 for car MP3 player with free installation.
:) :)

nếu charge thì ông làm

check the fuse. if they are OK then go to bestbuy get yourself a decent CD player, comes with free installation. don't try to install the CD yourself 'cuz it really freaking tought especially in an old car. i installed a pioneer CD player in my 240 SX and i got 3 pulled over three times simply because i burned most of the fuses.
