I don't mean no harm ... just kidding around with them .... hopefully they don't take it as offended :)
Well, I do need them to tell me "YEAR, MAKE, MODEL" of their car ... hehe ... if I'm the mod ... it will be my only rule ... hehe

This is absolutely true. Without those "Year, make, model" we can't tell them a thing.
So people, let ask him anything you want to ask. Let me do first
So ColdWind, here is the question: "Tell me why I should NOT buy an expensive vehicle (above 50k)"

"Tell me why I should NOT buy an expensive vehicle (above 50k)"
this sounds like a psychological or financial (not technical) question to me ... hehe :)
U should NOT but an exp veh if:
1) U make (yearly salary) less than the car's price tag
2) U make about the same or little more than the car's price tag but U have tons of bills to pay. Little rule of thumb: deduct ALL your monthly bills, your money left over should be at least 2 times the car payment.
3) If U're worry about gas costs too much (believe it or not, I've known someone driving 911 and complaining about gas mileage :D), don't buy sport car (like 911S), they drink gas more than U drink water!
4) Maintenance can be very costly - I'm just talking about maintenance, not even repair. Guys with high-maintenant girls know what I'm talking about :D
These are the things just popped out of my head. There can be few more things that apply.
Personally, I like to drive an expensive, sport car. But I don't like the idea of put all the money in the car like most people I know in Cali (I believe I did talk about this)!

I agree. If you can afford a 911 or GT2 then who cares about gas prices. However, I heard that it cost about 2.00 bucks/gal for Premium grade in CA.

I'm not sure how much it is now, maybe $3/gal (Tammy should know the correct answer). But in Cali gas is like gold there :)
In LA shell, 76, mobile, around $183 per gallon for 92
Arco and thirfty are the cheapest one less than shell and other about 10 or 15 cent...

$3.00 per gallon , no way, what are you guys talking about ? :weed:
Where I live , upper Sacramento region, only about $1.69 for the cheapest, may be 20 cents or more so in The San Francisco /Bay Area .

If you buy car at the expensive price, i.e. 50K or above, the problem is most of the time the car will just end up sitting in your garage and gathering dusts .
Then you need to get another cheapy substitute to drive around for work purpose, and can dinged and scraped all it wants, without hurting your stomach , hehe right .
So the problem is you end up having a leisure car and the working car, but you have to pay insurance for both .
This is no problem if you are making lots of money and can afford both . But if you are just getting by with your paycheck, still renting, this may not seem like a good idea .

in my town (Mid west) I pump Premium grade (91 or 92) for $1.50. I think this is alright.
If I buy a car (no matter cheap or expensive) I'll drive it. It's a car, car needs to be driven and earn miles and dings and scratches and and and.............
