what do you mean theyre out of business?
the dealer which you bought your car from is gone?
or the whole company ?

well..either way...you still have the warranty...
you should find a daewoo dealer and talk to them..
they should cover the cost to fix your lano

i just checked with edmunds.com for you
seems like the car's value now depreciated all the way down to 3300-4500..
with the condition as it as right now...the trade in value of your car would be low...really low..

a word of advise..if you want something reliable...go with japanese at least ;)

yes, you are right billh02000 Daewoo is file for bankrupt, but they still fix your car, just bring to one of the daewoo dealership near you to get it fix. Also, I think you should sell the daewoo and get something more reliable like japanese car, but do not get Mishubishi (spelling) because it also not really reliable

I believe all cars are warranty 36 months or 36,00 miles which come first. Bring your car to the dealer and have them check for you because it still under warranty for sure. You still can use your car about 2 more years and sell because at that time no more warranty.....If the dealer won't check it for you, then you directly to their company.....

Never trade in your car because they buy your car very low price :)

Bill,
with 9,500 U can get a 2yr old Civic and still drives like new :)

Back to your problem, Daewoo is out of business, but there are few dealers still around. The problem is these dealers are afraid that they will not get paid for the warranty so they will try to do the best they can not fixing your car.
Push them as hard as U can. It's your right!!!

True, but I still see lots of people driving cars like FORD, GM, and CHRYSLER (the big 3) :cigar:
