yeah, it drives good, handle well, acc. fast and with a lots of goodies BUT I don't like it appearance. It looks ugly, the limited is OK eventhough it is 2 inches lower than the 3rd generation.

GX470 is a lot nice with about 5G more.

It's a truck so it drives like a truck, you should expect rough right when you buy a truck.

I have a 2002 Sport Edition, I love it. I like to take her out to the field where is mud and snow. or go through the jungle. One more thing I like about it is it's very reliable and it keeps its value very good though.

WRONG !!!
It's not a truck ... not even closed to a truck :)
Lots of people think that they buy a SUV as a truck but not true ... can not even fit a washer/dryer in there :D

I use my Chevy Z71 as a truck and mud rider sometimes :cigar:

I have to say that you know nothing about 4Runner or you are an anti-Japanese vehicle. of course it fits for a washer and dryer.

It is built on a truck plattform (body on frame). Chevy is always just a Chevy, while toyota is always Great toyota.

Come on Chevy boy.:cigar: :cigar:

ConChimSe,
just scroll back and read my previous posts before "you have to say anything ..." :D :D :D

I used to own a '95 4Runner, now have a '00 Landcruiser.
Toyota is always my favorite car manufacture :)

But as far as trucks go, Chevy is still up there :cigar:

only 120 mph?
what's the highest speed did U try on your 4Runner?

I only tried top speed in sport car like 300zx (140mph) ... not yet in SUV or regular car :)

This is one of my points that 4Runner is not a TRUCK.
It's not really made for towing a big boat ... specially going up hill :)
The new v8 4Runner may do the job.
But if U have a boat and haul a lot of stuffs, my advice is getting a Chevy z71 off road (what I have) ... no problem hauling anything and great for hunting trip :)

PS: I see someone tows a boat with a car. Now, that's really a dumb thing to do !!!

Not even dare to go over 100 , why should 120 mph be a problem ?

at least a found a fan here. I fall in love with my 4Runner everyday. And beside if you want a fast and strong 4Runner then I suggest you put on the TRD Supercharger and a few mods. For about 2500 bucks, you can gain up to 65 horses at 5200 RPM and 75 ft-lb torque at 4800 RPM. and get 0-60 for under 7 seconds for a 5000 lbs vehicle? very impressive.

I think it's damn nice looking SUV and reliability is great.
