Most Asian like us will familiar with the terms "Civic". First I thought Civic only come out like 19 to 20 years or so. But I completely wrong about it, as search through website about Civic. I found out that next year (2003) Honda will celebrate its 30th anniversary of Civic in America (1973-2003).
The first series of Civic which cost around $2,200 (1974), weight around 1,500 pounds, four cylinder engine, around 50 to 55 horsepowers, achieve 40 miles per gallon on highway, all-independent suspension, a four-speed manual or a two-speed "Hondamatic" automatic transmission, AM radio, A/C, etc.
2002, 29 years later Civic achieve even better, the new Civic Si Hatch Back could produce up to 160 horsepowers, but with affordable price aroud $15.000 to $17,000 (and include everything that we need for a car), and the new Civic hybrid even achieve better, could produce up to 52 Miles per gallon on a highway.
